We are a locally owned hardware store, outdoor equipment dealer, and small engine repair shop looking to add 1-2 part-time team members to our growing crew! This role has the potential for full-time hours.

• Knowledge of pipe cutting and threading, key cutting, glass cutting, blade and chain sharpening and tire changing, preferred or willing to learn.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Hose making preferred or willing to learn.
• Working knowledge and ability to offer advice to customers during product selection for electrical, plumbing, painting and household repair projects.
• Point-of-Sale computer application knowledge, preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Organized, self-starter who thinks independently and solves problems.
• Able to lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8am-2pm.
• Stand/walk for 8-9 hours
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer for pick-up and delivery of lawn care equipment.
• Bilingual between English and Spanish is helpful but not necessary.

• Cut & Thread Pipe cutting, Cut Keys, Cut Glass, Sharpen Blades and Chains, Change Tires and Tubes.
• Make Hydraulic Hose Assemblies.
• Assembly new outdoor power equipment.
• Wash equipment that is ready for display and following service for customers.
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading vehicles and moving large items around property.
• Maintain organization of outside operations by moving customers equipment inventory kept in outside locations.
• Perform lawn maintenance and trash pick-up of outside of property.
• Operate a truck and trailer for pick-up and delivery of equipment for repair and service.
• Working knowledge and ability to offer advice to customers during product selection for electrical, plumbing, painting and household repair projects.
• Communication with customers via phone, email or text. 
• Checking in equipment for service and repairs.
• Equipment Parts research and selection.
• Running Register and Checking Out customers as necessary
• Restock shelves as necessary.
• Assist in taking regular inventory of stock.
• Participate in inventory counts and adjustments for accurate inventory.
• Face and front product throughout the store at the beginning and end of the shift, and as time permits throughout the day.
• Continually expand knowledge of all departments in the store.
• Become a versatile employee, able to help in other areas when needed.
• Monitor store conditions while maintaining a comfortable environment for customers by maintaining a clean and orderly sales floor, including housekeeping tasks

• We offer paid vacation and bonuses after one year of employment
• Base hourly rate $15-$20, negotiable depending on experience
